Has anyone heard of BSC games? I own Troopinum and Hunter, and think they're both pretty awesome, and definetly challenging.
Troopinum is kind of like Space envaders but there is a lot more too it, and, if you like challenge, this is a good game for it.
Hunter is an adventure game where you have to go through 10 levels. Each level presents a new challenge and you have a new objective to accomplish. The first level is one where you have to shoot diferent animals whith a dart that stuns them and puts them to sleep before some voodoo doctor or whatever finds out your there. WHen you hear him comming you have to climb a tree and wait until he leaves. If you don't climb it quick enough he will kill you and you lose a life.
Some of the other levels include a swamp level where you have to swim, a fishing level where you have to catch a certain amout of fish without being eaten by a aligator, a level where you have to avoid and swat stinging ensects, a canoe ride where you have to lasoo rocks with a rope and try to avoid being eaten by a crock, and there are a lot of other exciting adventures, but as most of yu know I am running a demo of Jaws, and It's about to run out on me.
So, check these games out sometime.

Yes I know of them, though I am not a big fan of them myself... blast chamber's actually pretty good though, but there beginning games *shudder* well Justin is definately getting more skilled at becoming a developer but his sound forgial skill increaseth not. (anyone else notice practically all the pipe 2 sounds come from the sonic foundry sound thing that comes with sound forge?)

Oh BSC games most definitely rock! I have Hunter, Troop 1 and 2 and Pipe 1 and 2. Troop and Pipe 2 are my absolute favourites, but Justin is without a doubt extremely talented and creative! I trust them so much to be of the best quality that I now purchase any new ones I can and like the sound of, without giving the demo a go. Haven't won any of these yet mind you! but all the same, I highly reccomend them to everyone! :)

I love Troopanum! Troopanum 1.6 and 2.0 are my favorite ones, since I have the full versions of both of them!

I don't like blast chamber. OK... its really challenging, even for "easy difaculty"
hey... I didn't know sonic has those sounds, though I've noticed that Justin Dauvenmire took the sounds from hunter. The die sound is the same as in level 2, the barrel is the same sound that you can find in level 6 of hunter, and the "you fall into a sewer lid" is the same "deep water". The creativity is good, but the sound is... not so much.
I plan to buy troopanum soon, it rocks!
I have pipe 1 and hunter in my computer.
Ah! and Justin also compresses his files to make sure you cannot extract the sounds, wich makes a big mass in your computer, because alon with the installer that is 56 MB, the .bsc file is 60 MB.
Pipe is 10 MB (the installer), but well he is crazi and has decided that way, its no so bright.

Hi,
These games sound interesting. Where do you find Blast Chamber? And are Troopanum and Hunter demos from BSC Games, unless you purchase them? Also, I'm interested in finding more game sites, where I can find games for the blind for free, or free demos. I know of
www.bscgames.net, or is it .com lol,
www.pcsgames.net or com I forgot heehee ... but I have it written down
www.l-works.net
www.audiogames.net,
www.soundsupport.net
and some others that I can't think of. If you know of anymore, please do post them here!
Thanks so much!
Caitlin

Hey, all you have to do is go to www.pcsgames.net, click on the "fantastic games and where to find them!" link, and you have almost 80 sites to choose from! It's really awesome! As for bsc games, i like them but the setup files are way too big. I have dialup and it sucks because the only ones I've ever played are troopanum 1.5 and pipe 1. But i really want to play blast chamber but since the setup file is 56 mb thats out of the question. i wonder why the setup files are so large?

Hey great link!! I'm always looking for new games, yay.
Hmm I think the files are so big because you have the game and all the files to run it plus the sounds and stuff. After all, if I remember correctly once you put in your unlock code you don't have to redownload the game, it already put the full version on your system.
Hoping to get Pipe Blast Chamber for my birthday, so much fun.

I love BSC games! I currently have Pipe 2 Blast Chamber (which I have already beaten the easy and normal difficulties) and Hunter. I got those for Christmas last year and they are very good! I sit at my computer for hours at a time just playing them!

I know of BSC Games. The only game i own from them is Hunter. I think it's a cool game, though It's a real Bastard to complete. however, being persistent with the game, i completed it on easy and injoyed it.
I've yet to decide to buy Pipe 2 blast chamber, but there'll be a time when i might make my desition.

a .BSC file is the sounds. I don't know how they pulled it off but the sounds are encrypted in a .bsc file. I think it's tr20.bsc or something for troop2, etc. Cool stuff and what is sonic foundry?

I liked the classic version of Pipe better than Blast Chamber. It was easier and more fun in my opinion, although the sound quality was...well, I'll be nice...not that great. As for Troopanum, same deal, I liked classic better than version 2.
